ABOUT ME
My name is Jacob Merson and I'm currently studying Product Design at the University of Huddersfield.
I have a great passion for design and always give 100% in everything I do, in and out of design. My skills and attributes have drastically improved since starting the course back in high school where I chose the topic for my options in GCSE. I loved my last 2 years and decided to carry on my studies into college. This is when my skills further improved through the use of the "design process", creating more challenging project such as the table project. I achieved the grades in college to progress to university and currently enjoying my time, embracing every brief to further improve my skills.
I consider myself to be a very hardworking person with a positive attitude to learning and trying new things; also keen to take in advice to further improve. I am very enthusiastic with keeping up with current trends within the markets to stay ahead in my studies. I have various strengths ranging from sketching, development of an idea and justifying an idea with thorough research. I aspire to carry on and be within the industry for the in future.
Product design has become a essential part of everyday life for me, linking back to everyday products that we use day to day.
